When you are born into a family of winegrowers, you might think that wine becomes part of your life automatically.

For me this was not always the case. Even though the legal age to drink wine in France is 18 years old, I only really started when I turned 21! However, it became a passion right away and since then, I have always worked in the wine world.

After 13 years working for other successful companies, I decided to start TERRISSON WINES in january 2002. I had in mind to export to the US market the hidden secrets that are very often only enjoyed by the locals.

Over the years, our team has discovered great winegrowers and fantastic winemakers who share our simple attitude towards wine:

Authenticity and Sustainability:

Our wines have to truly express their Terroir, reveal the fruit (barrel ageing is banned when not absolutely necessary) and have to be produced in controlled quantity. We really want the wines to reflect the winemaker's style and personality !Over the years, most of the producers we represent have moved toward sustainable growing, enabling us to offer not only authentic but "healthy" wines.

Our wines must offer immediate pleasure when the bottle is open and the aromas released. We want them to be what the French call “Vins de Soif”. It means wines that are balanced, very often low in alcohol and above all fruit forward.

Terrisson wines offer quality and value without breaking the budget, we are focusing our efforts on selecting wines that are between $8 and $25 on the shelves.

This is the philosophy that the Terrisson Wines team wants to share with you throughout our selection.
