The Estate was founded in the 11th century by the Eremites of Ste Cecile d'Estagel Abbay. It is situated on the pilgrimage route of Santiago of Compostella. The Estate's total surface covers 80 hectares of sunny south facing vineyards, which benefits from the airy Mediterranean climate.
The Domain's owners are counted amongst the Rhône Valley's most dynamic and talented winegrowers. The work that they accomplish allows the grape to breathe out the use oak barrels for ageing is restricted as much as possible. Victor is the name of the first owner and winemaker of the Castillon Familly.
